You will conduct independent fundamental credit research on investment‑grade municipal credits and selective high‑yield opportunities, translating issuer analysis into timely investment recommendations.

You will evaluate bonds, establish internal ratings, and collaborate with portfolio managers to inform security selection, portfolio construction, and risk management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in the municipal sector or asset management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; professional certifications preferred.
  • Curious, independent thinker with a passion for markets.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork across investment teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct fundamental credit analysis of municipal issuers and securities across assigned sectors.
  • Evaluate new-issue and secondary-market bonds and issue clear buy/hold/sell recommendations.
  • Establish internal credit ratings, outlooks and investment theses.
  • Analyze financial statements, budgets, revenues, debt profiles, pensions and liabilities.
  • Assess macro developments affecting issuers and sectors; perform downside and scenario testing.

## Municipal Bond Credit AnalystApply: USA - PA - Oaks: Full time: Posted Today: R0037970SEI is looking to add a Municipal Bond Credit Analyst as a member of the Fixed Income Team responsible for conducting independent fundamental credit research across the municipal bond market.The role will focus primarily on investment-grade municipal credits, with selective coverage of high-yield and non-rated municipal opportunities where appropriate. The Analyst will develop independent credit opinions, internal ratings, investment recommendations, and relative value assessments that inform security selection, portfolio construction, and risk management.This role combines in-depth municipal-sector research with close collaboration across the asset management team, including portfolio managers and senior leaders.
