Addison Group is seeking a Tax Supervisor in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This hybrid role focuses on multistate tax compliance, including sales and use tax, licenses, and tax reporting, while supporting general ledger accounting and month-end close.

The position offers hourly pay and a path to further tax leadership opportunities. The ideal candidate has strong multistate tax experience, solid Excel skills, and CPA certification (or in progress).

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on tax compliance experience, multistate sales and use tax.
• Investigate and resolve tax compliance issues with research.
• General ledger, month-end close, and reconciliations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support multistate sales and use tax compliance, including filings.
• Monitor filings with Avalara, resolve discrepancies, and research issues.
• Prepare schedules for sales/use tax and other taxes.
• Coordinate with external tax providers for U.S. and Canada compliance.
• Prepare month-end journal entries for tax and general ledger accounts.
