Job summary

EisnerAmper seeks a Senior Manager for its State and Local Tax practice, responsible for multistate consulting and compliance, including residency issues and nexus analyses. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver sophisticated SALT solutions.

The role requires 8+ years in state taxation, CPA, and experience with flow-through entities and state tax planning. Hybrid work options and a competitive salary are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 8+ years of state taxation experience required.
• CPA certification required.
• Experience with tiered flow-through entities and investment vehicles helpful.
• Experience with state tax planning, tax research, and tax analysis required.

Responsibilities

• Multistate consulting and compliance services, including allocation, apportionment, modifications, nexus, unitary filings, and flow-through taxation.
• Residency issues.
• Sales tax consulting, including nexus and taxability studies.
• Audit defense.
• Research and writing.
• Due diligence.
• Coordinating with in-house tax professionals and clients.
• Reviewing and consulting on pass-through entity issues including estimated payment, withholding and composite tax calculations, and investor packages including state K-1s and grids.
