Job summary

Freddie Mac Multifamily is seeking a motivated underwriter to assess CRE loans collateralized by multifamily properties. You will build toward credit approval, review investment briefs, and ensure data quality for securitization, while working with a team to structure deals and resolve issues efficiently.

The role requires 1–3 years in CRE finance, a relevant degree, and strong Excel/Word skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related professional experience in multifamily or CRE finance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build toward credit approval and closing of loans collateralized by multifamily properties.
• Review Investment Briefs and ensure data quality for loan securitization.
• Analyze pro forma financial statements, market analysis, property inspections; present deals for approval.
• Develop resolutions to problems within defined procedures.
