Job summary

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Senior Superintendent to lead multifamily construction projects in Florida. The role directs on-site activities, coordinates trades, maintains schedules, and ensures safety and quality standards from groundbreaking through turnover.

A hands-on leader who can move complex projects forward is needed. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in a superintendent role, a Construction Management or Civil Engineering background, and proven risk management and leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a superintendent role focusing on multifamily construction.
• Experience in risk management, leadership, communication, problem-solving and strategic planning.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials and quality control.
• Excellent leadership and ability to motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
• Must have valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of construction for multifamily projects including planning, scheduling and budgeting.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work aligns with specs and timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and enforce safety regulations.
• Identify risks and implement risk management strategies.
• Foster teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Resolve on-site issues promptly and effectively.
• Communicate progress and concerns to stakeholders.
• Implement strategic planning to improve operations.
