Job summary

GPAC is seeking a Senior Project Manager for commercial and multifamily construction projects in Michigan. The role involves leading projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing budgets, forecasts, schedules, contracts, buyouts and change orders, and coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, superintendents and trade partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction project management experience.
• Strong commercial general contractor background.
• Multifamily / multi-unit construction experience strongly preferred.
• Ground-up apartments, mixed-use, student housing or senior living experience highly desirable.
• Strong financial, preconstruction and scheduling capabilities.
• Established relationships throughout Greater Southeast Michigan strongly preferred.
• Ability to leverage local relationships and help grow the company's regional business.
• Procore experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage budgets, forecasting, schedules, contracts, buyout and change orders.
• Lead owners, architects, engineers, superintendents and trade partners.
• Oversee project financial performance, profitability and cost control.
• Drive constructability, value engineering and problem resolution.
• Build strong client relationships and support repeat/new business.
