Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Construction Project Manager in Michigan's West Suburbs of Detroit to oversee and coordinate complex building projects, leading teams of trade partners and on-site staff to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

You will develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, enforce safety standards, and maintain clear client communication while collaborating with subcontractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, ensuring timelines and quality.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate trade partners, subcontractors, and on-site personnel.
• Financial Management: Oversee budgets, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Create and maintain project schedules and allocate resources.
• Client Relations: Act as the primary contact for clients and provide updates.
• Quality Control: Maintain rigorous quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations.
• Procurement and Vendor Management: Manage purchasing and negotiate with vendors.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve issues to minimize delays.
• Reporting: Present progress reports to senior management.

• Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Procurement and Vendor Management: Manage the purchasing process for materials and equipment, negotiating with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
• Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process, minimizing delays and maintaining project momentum.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
