Simpson Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for The Matisse Luxury Apartment Homes in Portland, OR. You will maintain a multi-million dollar luxury community, troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues, and ensure resident satisfaction.

You will assist the Service Supervisor with makeready schedules, place vendor orders, and help maintain curb appeal. This role requires on-call availability and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related multifamily/hotel maintenance experience
• Strong knowledge and experience with HVAC systems, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair and general carpentry
• HVAC/EPA certification and Fair Housing training is required
• CPO and CAMT certifications are also required (can be obtained after hire)
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Word and Outlook)
• Full training on Makeready schedule, Payables Nexus for ordering supplies and Yardi for all service requests (training after hire)
• Strong customer service skills
• At times, will be required to be on call

Responsabilités

• Maintaining and preserving a multi-million dollar luxury community ensuring a quality living experience for residents
• Troubleshooting and resolving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, sewer/water, pool and security system issues
• Developing strong rapport with residents and assisting with general maintenance issues (appliances, flooring, cabinets, locks, drywall, etc.) promptly
• Assisting the Service Supervisor with makeready schedules and inspecting makeready units for leasing readiness
• Placing orders with approved vendors for supplies and equipment
• Helping maintain curb appeal at the property
