Job summary
MG Properties in East Portland, OR is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to support on-site upkeep at our apartment communities. You will perform multi-trade maintenance, respond to service requests, handle turnovers, and ensure a positive resident experience across properties in the East Portland area.
The role requires experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to participate in on-call rotations.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience on a 200-unit property
- Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and related trades required
- Customer service attitude, flexibility and teamwork are essential
- Consent to potential audio recordings during work duties as a condition of employment
- Reliable transportation is a MUST
- Availability to work on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Clean grounds, offices, and common areas
- Complete maintenance service requests in a timely manner
- Repair appliances, perform painting and unit turnovers
- Assist with emergency calls and urgent repairs
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize tasks
- Support property operations to enhance resident satisfaction
