Job summary

Colonial Group seeks an experienced Apartment Maintenance Lead to oversee daily maintenance operations at our apartment community. This role supervises the maintenance team, manages work orders, and ensures preventative maintenance to keep the property safe and well-maintained.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of multifamily maintenance experience, knowledge of HVAC/plumbing/electrical/appliances, EPA/HVAC certification preferred, and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• EPA/HVAC certification preferred.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train maintenance staff
• Complete and assign work orders and unit turns
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs
• Oversee preventative maintenance and vendor work
• Ensure community grounds and amenities are in excellent condition
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies
