Job summary

Yellowstone Local, representing MEP Home Services, seeks an on-site HVAC project manager in the Virginia/DC area to lead ground‑up multifamily builds from planning through commissioning. You will oversee 350–450 unit podium and mixed‑use developments, coordinate with field teams, and drive safety, schedule, and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of HVAC PM experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Procore.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HVAC project management experience.
• Experience in mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, budgeting, estimating, and project execution.
• Experience managing multifamily construction projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced construction environment.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of project outcomes.
• Valid driver's license.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage ground-up multifamily HVAC construction projects.
• Oversee podium and mixed-use developments ranging from 350 to 450 units.
• Utilize Procore to manage project schedules, budgets, documentation, and communication.
• Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, trade partners, and internal teams to achieve project goals.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to company leadership.
• Ensure projects comply with safety requirements, building codes, and project specifications.
• Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain project momentum.
• Manage multiple active HVAC construction projects while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
• Provide dependable leadership through clear communication and proactive decision‑making.
