Job summary

AllSearch Professional Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Estimator for multifamily and commercial projects in Reno, NV.

This in‑office role focuses on ground‑up estimates, takeoffs, bids, and budget development, coordinating with preconstruction, project management, and field teams. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of commercial estimating experience, proficiency with estimating software, and strong knowledge of local market pricing.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial construction estimating experience, including ground-up multifamily or mixed-use projects.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, pricing, bid preparation, and budget development.
• Ability to review architectural/engineering drawings, specs, scopes of work, and contract documents.
• Experience soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids and supplier quotes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, and other building projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, pricing, and bid preparation.
• Review drawings, specs, scopes of work, and contract documents.
• Solicit, review, level, and evaluate subcontractor bids and supplier quotes.
• Develop bid proposals, project budgets, and construction cost estimates.
• Identify cost risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate estimating activities with project managers, preconstruction, estimating, and field teams.
• Mentor junior estimators.
