Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in multifamily construction estimating or a related discipline.
• Proven success in preconstruction, estimating, and project management for multifamily residential projects.
• Strong references demonstrating leadership, achievement, and effective communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with estimating software such as Procore, Sage Estimating, or similar platforms.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret architectural and engineering plans and specifications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of multifamily construction methods, materials, and cost structures.
• Understanding of budgeting, vendor selection, and proposal development processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preconstruction and estimating initiatives for multifamily projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency during all phases.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to support planning and execution.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, analyze feasibility, and implement value engineering strategies.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators, fostering professional development.
• Represent the company professionally and manage bid packages, scopes, and subcontractor solicitation.
