Job summary

Trammell Crow Company in San Francisco seeks a Senior Development Manager to lead complex multi-family development from entitlements through lease-up, coordinating with stakeholders to hit milestones.

You will oversee predevelopment, development execution and close-out, manage budgets, schedules, consultants, and site approvals, while collaborating with leasing and property management teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, business or equivalent from a 4-year college program preferred.
• Typically, at least 6 years commercial development management experience.
• Knowledge of construction practices, ADA Title III, contract laws, and project controls (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Predevelopment: support due diligence on land/building acquisitions, coordinate with consultants and officials, and manage permits.
• Development Execution: support execution of projects, manage estimates/schedules/change orders, coordinate with contractors and consultants, and report status.
• Post Development: oversee project close-out, ensure substantial/final completion, and coordinate turnover with property management.
• Project Teams: provide guidance to project coordinators/consultants and support planning/supervision.
• Work Environment and Travel: role primarily in office with travel to job sites within the region.
