Job summary

Invoke Staffing's client, a regional construction management firm in North Carolina, seeks a Lead Construction Superintendent to direct on-site activities, ensure safety, schedule, and budget, and uphold quality across projects. The role mentors Project Engineers and Assistant Superintendents, coordinates with PMs, subs, inspectors, and owners, and leads CPM scheduling and preconstruction efforts.

Requires 7+ years as a superintendent, a related bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Procore

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or related field
• 7+ years of construction superintendent experience
• Proven success leading $10M+ projects
• Deep expertise in ADA compliance, utilities, energy systems, steel, HVAC
• Mastery of construction methods across multiple project types
• Strong knowledge of AHJ inspection requirements and OSHA compliance

Responsibilities

• Direct all on-site construction activities from mobilization through closeout
• Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
• Mentor and manage Project Engineers and Assistant Superintendents
• Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors and inspectors
• Lead CPM scheduling, preconstruction activities, and change management
• Review and manage submittals, shop drawings, and documentation
• Maintain daily site records, safety programs, and QA/QC checks
• Support business development and client relationship initiatives
