Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced on-site Superintendent to oversee daily construction activities for commercial and multifamily projects in the upper Midwest. You will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to keep progress on schedule while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to read blueprints and specifications.

Qualifications

5+ years in commercial or multifamily construction with 2+ years in a superintendent role.
Deep understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and scheduling tools.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore or Buildertrend.
OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day on-site construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to maintain clear communication and resolve issues proactively.
Coordinate and supervise all field staff and subcontractor work, ensuring compliance with design plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to project timelines.
Maintain accurate documentation including daily reports, schedules, safety logs, and punch lists.
