Job summary

Westminster is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead one or more construction projects, overseeing planning, scheduling, code compliance, cost tracking, safety and completion. The role requires directing subcontractors and on-site staff, with strong leadership and communication skills.

The position emphasizes managing schedules, safety programs, and project documentation while coordinating with project teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires Engineering, Construction Management or related Bachelor’s degree, OR equivalent years of related experience.
• Requires 10+ years of experience in Stick-frame Multi-Family Residential Construction.
• Requires working knowledge of construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update the project schedule (master, 60-day look ahead, two-week look ahead).
• Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors, vendors and inspectors to complete projects on time.
• Communicate with and support subcontractors to execute duties effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor work and materials to ensure quality control across project stages.
• Prepare daily construction reports and maintain a field log of activities and issues.
• Attend weekly subcontractor meetings and contribute to meeting minutes.
• Maintain site safety plans and risk controls in daily operations.
• Ensure proper document control and timely RFI communication with designers/consultants.
