Job summary

Westminster is hiring a Project Manager to represent the project Owner and GC. You will monitor contracts, track budgets, RFIs, change orders, and prepare schedules and cost updates to keep the project on time and within budget.

The role requires attention to detail and strong communication. Weekday mornings through Saturdays as needed, with responsibilities across preconstruction to completion.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of related experience.
• Requires 5+ years of experience in Stick frame Multi-Family Residential Construction.
• Knowledge of Revu Bluebeam/AutoCAD is a must.
• Requires working knowledge of various construction disciplines, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents required.
• Requires superior communication and interpersonal skills essential both within the internal project team and externally with consultants.
• Requires knowledge of the shop drawing submittal process.
• Requires the ability to read and comprehend building plans and specifications and recognize safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preconstruction efforts including permitting, trade contract review, analysis, tracking & reporting.
• Manages all aspects of the project from inception thru completion including the CO process.
• Prepares and executes a construction plan.
• Attends and leads project field meetings, provide minutes of meetings, develop follow-up lists.
• Enforces safety on the job.
• Ensures personnel and workers are on the job, checks tasks against daily job sheets.
• Plans and tracks material delivery and scheduling.
• Prepares an initial review of change order requests and reports the change order log to upper management.
• Establishes delivery time for materials, equipment, or labor and lead times.
• Keeps records of all deliveries and equipment.
• Reads prints and issues RFIs for clarification.
• Follows up on shop drawings, submittals, or detailed drawings.
• Maintains follow-up with subcontractors to ensure schedule is met.
• Ensures compliance with codes and inspections.
