Flaherty & Collins Construction is seeking a Project Manager for our Kansas City, MO office to lead multifamily construction projects from start to finish.

The role offers a $120,000–$130,000 salary with a day shift, full-time employment, and opportunities to manage schedules, budgets, and safety compliance across complex developments. A bachelor’s in construction management or 5+ years of direct experience is required, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field or 5+ years of direct experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing direct-hire workforce and subcontractors.
• Proven track record in managing multi-family housing construction projects.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Proficient in construction management software and tools.
• Commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Oversee all aspects of project performance, including quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth project operations.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues.
• Communicate with stakeholders, providing updates and resolving concerns.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including contracts, change orders, and reports.
• Identify and mitigate risks to keep projects on track.
• Foster collaboration, accountability, and excellence among project teams.
