Job summary

Danos in Kenedy, TX seeks a Senior Multi-Skilled Operator IV to monitor, optimize and maintain oil and gas production and injection wells. You will work on a rotating schedule ensuring peak efficiency and reliability of production equipment.

The role requires 7+ years in oil and gas, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently as well as with teams. Valid US driver’s license and willingness to meet background and drug-screen requirements are required.

Qualifications

• Senior level with 7+ years of oil and gas experience.
• Technical/functional specialist in discipline.
• Ability to apply extensive knowledge to a wide variety of situations.
• Recommends solutions to complex problems.
• Leads in technical/functional area but not a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Manage well operations, gas lifted wells, ESPs, three‑phase separation, gas compression, control board operation, pipeline operation, and assist other operators and craft personnel.
• Prepare for and perform maintenance, take readings, issue work permits, follow procedures, initiate work requests, write procedures, interfacing with support groups.
• Proactively monitor well and equipment performance to maximize production.
• Work with support groups to optimize chemical pump rates based on production data (corrosion, paraffin, soap injection, etc.).
• Interface with Engineering for data gathering requests.
• Track test compression data.
• Conduct fluid level measurements with echo meter.
