Job summary

KMS, a project and program management firm, seeks a Project Manager for the Multi-Site Programs team in Charlotte. You will oversee a portfolio of maintenance capital and small to mid-size capital projects for clients with large networks of facilities.

Responsibilities include coordinating stakeholders, managing schedules and budgets, mitigating risks, and delivering projects with minimal disruption. Travel to sites may be required up to 50% of the schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in banking, retail, commercial construction, capital improvement, facilities, or multi-site environments.
• Strong understanding of construction project delivery methods, including schedules, budgets, contracts, pay applications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and aggressive timelines.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
• Builds strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent projects across client portfolios, typically $50,000 to $5 million each.
• Coordinate renovations, building envelope/roofing work, mechanical and electrical replacements, site work, and other facility improvements.
• Develop, maintain, and communicate schedules, budgets, risk logs, and milestone reports across concurrent projects.
• Manage implementation schedules to minimize disruption to site operations and customer experience.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and client stakeholders for successful execution.
• Serve as owner's representative through planning, design, procurement, construction, implementation, and closeout.
• Attend and lead meetings with stakeholders, guiding decisions and next steps.
• Support bids, contracts, change orders, and pay applications with recommendations and actions as needed.
• Perform site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and schedule performance.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, safety, and contractual requirements for financial clients.
