Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our team. You will promptly address resident service requests, perform hands-on maintenance tasks, and prepare apartments for occupancy while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will inspect and maintain mechanical systems, coordinate with the Service Manager, and participate in on-call rotations. A minimum of three years in maintenance, EPA and CPO certifications may be required depending on state and role.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years hands-on maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance and reliable transportation.
• EPA certification required in some states.
• CPO required in Georgia, Florida, Los Angeles and North Carolina.
• Computer literacy and clear English communication for work purposes.
• Shift flexibility including weekends and on-call duties.
• Smartphone use and security/comms requirements for work.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Promptly addresses resident service requests.
• Performs hands-on maintenance tasks, including plumbing and electrical work.
• Prepares market-ready apartments.
• Maintains grounds and common areas; keeps areas clean.
• Performs on-call emergency service as required.
• Performs special maintenance projects as assigned.
• Establishes and performs scheduled maintenance programs.
• Diagnoses mechanical and structural problems.
• Reports maintenance concerns to the Service Manager.
• Completes regular community inspections.
