Job summary

BHC is seeking a Group Billing Manager to lead the end-to-end group billing across its multi-property portfolio. You will master master accounts, folio splits, and direct billing while ensuring accuracy and superior client experience.

You will supervise the billing team, approve credit and deposits, and collaborate with Sales, Catering, Events, and Front Office to ensure terms match signed contracts. This role demands strong controls and cross-property leadership.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in hotel accounting, group billing, or AR, with luxury/ full-service exposure.
• Minimum two years in supervisory/management over an accounting or billing function.
• Experience supporting multiple properties or portfolio-level shared services.
• Knowledge of folio structures, group contracts, BEOs, direct billing, and credit policy.
• Experience with PMS and billing modules across properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end group billing across all properties, including master accounts and direct billing.
• Review and approve itemized invoices with complex split billing across cost centers.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and chargebacks.
• Maintain audit trails and documentation for internal controls and audits.
• Approve credit/deposit arrangements within portfolio policy; adjust limits when allowed.
• Serve as senior escalation for planners, agencies, and corporate accounts.
• Oversee AR aging and drive timely collections with property teams.
• Lead policy standardization, templates, and controls portfolio-wide.
• Run month-end close for group billing and explain variances at property/portfolio level.
• Partner with Sales, Catering/Events, and Front Office to align terms with contracts.
