Job summary

MMI Industrial & Steel is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee a portfolio of industrial construction projects. You will drive tactical execution, coordinate resources, and ensure safety, quality, and on‑time delivery while aligning with company standards.

You will lead Project Managers and Superintendents, translate strategy into daily action, and identify risks with proactive recovery plans. Travel to project sites will be regular in this senior role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of ten years of progressive experience managing commercial, industrial, or structural steel construction projects.
Minimum of five years of leadership experience overseeing Project Managers, Superintendents, or multi‑project teams.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with responsibility for cost, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction.
Strong knowledge of contracts, project controls, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and change management.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple active construction projects to ensure successful execution across the portfolio.
Monitor cost, schedule, productivity, labor, quality, and profitability.
Identify risks, performance trends, and improvement opportunities.
Develop recovery plans for projects behind schedule or budget.
Coach and mentor Project Managers and Superintendents to improve performance.
Promote consistent execution, communication, and standards across projects.
