Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Program Manager to lead the commissioning program across multiple construction projects for a single client.

You will establish standards, oversee execution, and support field teams to ensure systems are installed, tested, and documented to meet performance and safety requirements. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 10+ years in commercial construction with 5+ years in data center commissioning, and a proven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, building systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial construction, MEP systems, or related technical field including 5+ years of data center commissioning; multi-project or program-level experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, controls, and life safety).
• Proven experience leading commissioning activities on complex or large-scale projects.
• Experience coordinating with owners, design teams, contractors, and vendors in a construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Program Leadership & Strategy: Develop and maintain company-wide commissioning procedures, standards, and best practices. Manage commissioning project delivery strategies across all applicable project sites.
• Team Leadership & Guidance: Lead, mentor, and performance‑manage a team of commissioning professionals. Provide training and guidance to field teams on commissioning sequencing, durations, and expectations.
• Project Coordination & Support: Review design documents to understand and communicate system performance requirements for each project. Ensure project commissioning teams are aware of and aligned with design intent and performance criteria.
• Field Oversight & Execution: Ensure field inspections, functional testing, and documentation support the successful execution of the quality and commissioning program.
• Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing: Implement and maintain commissioning KPIs and continuous improvement processes to prevent repeat deficiencies and minimize impacts to project schedules.
