Job summary

Simon, a Colas USA subsidiary and leading asphalt/construction materials producer, seeks an operations leader in Colorado who can oversee multiple asphalt manufacturing sites. You will drive safety performance, profitability, and production efficiency while guiding capital planning and workforce development.

The role requires extensive experience in mining or materials manufacturing, strong budgeting skills, and a track record of leading teams under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field, or equivalent experience.
• MSHA certification and/or ability to obtain.
• Valid driver's license with clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Lead asphalt plant operations and manufacturing leadership in assigned area.
• Establish budgets, schedules, and monitor performance for safety, production, quality, and finance.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA/MSHA/DOT and related laws.
• Develop capital plans and long-range manufacturing strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, construction, QA, and asset management teams to meet demand.
