Job summary

Simon, a Colas USA subsidiary, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead multiple heavy civil construction projects in Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming. You will manage project managers, plan resources, control budgets, and ensure client satisfaction while promoting safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include leading pre-construction and progress meetings, coordinating with engineers and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or civil engineering preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Valid driver's license required to travel to field locations and/or operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Embrace the Company's safety culture and support safety initiatives.
• Hire, direct, and lead project management staff; mentor and develop team.
• Oversee multiple project managers and ensure schedule adherence, staffing, and financial performance.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, engineers, inspectors, and suppliers to maximize profit on projects.
• Lead pre-construction and status meetings; review and approve work plans.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DNR and environmental regulations.
