Job summary

Carter Lumber Company in Greenville, SC seeks an Commercial Multi‑Family Framing Install Manager to lead the development, coordination, and execution of large‑scale framing projects. This role requires strong communication between corporate and field teams to ensure timely production and quality control.

You will partner with market leadership to set strategic directions, oversee site safety, review blueprints, and steer field operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or multi-family construction/project management.
• Solid understanding of job site management processes and construction assembly.
• Adheres to safety procedures and practices.
• Understands contract changes, build-out processes and schedules.
• Able to analyze data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to read and comprehend blueprints.
• Willingness to travel to job sites; overnight travel may be required.
• OSHA 30 certification and equipment operation credentials preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements the policies and procedures of the region’s commercial or multi‑family projects.
• Facilitates weekly conference calls with the field, records production meeting minutes and conducts job site visits when necessary.
• Recommends and troubleshoots needed resolutions to avoid job site issues in field.
• Ensures all stores and installers are aware of project policies, procedures and safety guidelines to meet quality and service standards.
• Provides guidance to stores so that the company can properly execute projects.
• Assists in developing and implementing training for all employees regarding project processes and direction.
• Organizes schedules and coordinates training to ensure subcontractors are certified in product installations for the areas focused on.
