Edward Rose & Sons is seeking a Construction Superintendent for a multi-family project in Henrico, VA. You will supervise day-to-day field construction activities and manage schedules with the Project Manager to deliver quality work on time.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of experience in 3-story wood frame construction, strong communication skills, and a proven ability to oversee safety, quality, and contractor performance on complex sites.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to communicate professionally with diverse teams.
• Energetic, self-starting with a strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail on plans and contracts.
• Ability to interpret plans, specs and contracts for trades.
• Knowledge of means and methods for 3-story wood-frame construction.
• Familiarity with OSHA guidelines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision of field construction on a multi-family project.
• Plan, manage, and coordinate construction from land development to occupancy.
• Prepare and enforce schedules for trades with Project Manager support.
• Hold contractors accountable for performance and payments.
• Inspect trades and approve invoicing per contract terms.
• Ensure safety, quality, and site discipline across teams.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings for planning and safety.
