Job summary

Barry Isett & Associates is seeking a multi-discipline Project Manager to support projects across the Lehigh Valley and southeastern Pennsylvania. This role can be based out of Phoenixville, Furlong, or Wyomissing offices and requires design and project management experience, with strong communication, organization, problem solving, and client relationship skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in architectural design or project/construction administration for commercial/public facilities.
• Undergraduate degree in A/E design or construction management preferred.
• Knowledge of construction means/methods and construction codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications.
• Proficient in technical writing/interpretation—drawings, details, schedules, front-end and technical specs (AIA/EJCDC).
• Familiarity with drafting/design and project scheduling programs preferred.
• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain PA clearances/background checks if required by project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and nurture client relationships.
• Evaluate responses to proposals and multi-disciplinary opportunities.
• Manage proposals, budgets, authorizations for additional services and schedules.
• Manage project deliverables, reports, review comments, and client expectations.
• Assist in development of projects by leading internal and external teams.
• Manage multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Provide construction administration services.
• Develop technical specifications, contract documents, and manage bidding.
• Serve as Owner’s Representative for various project types.
• Responsible for QA/QC and construction oversight.
• Mentor junior associates and promote firm standards and growth.
