Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a Network Architect to shape the future of a large-scale financial services environment. This hands-on role focuses on the stability, security, performance, and scalability of enterprise network platforms, with a multi-year move from data center infrastructure toward cloud-based platforms.

You’ll work closely with an established technical team while remaining deeply involved in architecture and engineering work.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Network Architecture or a closely related architecture role.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise network solutions.
• Experience developing and maintaining network architecture standards and policies.
• Strong understanding of network security and enterprise security architecture.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, including multiple major cloud providers.
• Experience supporting data center-to-cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure automation.
• Ability to work effectively with an existing technical team while remaining hands‑on.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present technical recommendations to governance committees.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise network platforms.
• Hands‑on work with network architecture, engineering, and technical solutions.
• Partner with a network team to execute architectural strategies and solve complex challenges.
• Define and maintain enterprise network and security standards.
• Participate in architecture and technology governance committees.
• Develop technical policies and architectural standards supporting long-term strategy.
• Evaluate platforms to improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Drive transition from traditional data center infrastructure to cloud-based environments.
• Design and support solutions across Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud.
• Incorporate automation into network engineering, testing, validation, and operations.
• Identify opportunities to use AI within security functions to improve threat detection.
• Evaluate new technologies to meet security and architectural requirements.
• Establish repeatable approaches for testing and validating network changes.
• Collaborate across infrastructure, security, cloud, and other teams.
