Job summary

Eaton’s Corporate Sector is seeking an IT Architect - Network to lead enterprise networking, cloud networking, and security architecture. You will define target-state architectures, roadmaps, standards, and governance for a global network including data centers, campus, WAN/SD-WAN, Azure, OCI, and private connectivity.

As part of the Network & Security Architecture team, you’ll collaborate with architects to advance automation, AI-enabled operations, and scalable, secure networking solutions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required with 7+ years in enterprise networking or cloud networking.
Senior architect/leadership experience in network design and governance.
Residence within 50 miles of specified US locations and US work authorization.

Responsibilities

Serve as principal architect for enterprise networking and security.
Develop standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
Define secure, scalable network architectures for hybrid cloud.
Lead interconnection designs with Equinix and cloud providers.
Drive governance, architecture strategy, and AI-enabled ops initiatives.
