Job summary

Datasite is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Architect in Minneapolis or NYC to own multi-cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes platform strategy for a 250-engineer product-led organization. This IC role emphasizes high availability (99.95%), IaC, and collaboration with engineering teams to ensure capacity, reliability, and integration readiness ahead of growth.

You'll contribute to acquisition integration, architecture standards, and evaluating AI tooling that boosts infrastructure productivity;

Qualifications

• 10+ years of infra or platform engineering experience with architecture ownership
• Deep production experience across two major clouds (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong Kubernetes platform experience at scale
• Experience designing highly available systems (multi-region, multi-AZ, failover)
• IaC experience with Terraform or similar tools
• Ability to anticipate infrastructure and capacity needs
• Ability to influence technical direction without formal authority
• Direct experience with M&A technical due diligence and post-acquisition integration

Responsibilities

• Own multi-cloud architecture across AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Design connectivity patterns such as VPC/VNet peering, transit, and hybrid networking
• Define platform primitives engineering teams build on
• Own the infrastructure-as-code foundation using Terraform
• Design and validate 99.95% uptime HA patterns
• Lead capacity and resilience planning
• Partner on incident postmortems and remediation
• Collaborate with Directors and platform teams
• Evaluate AI tooling for infra automation and workflows
