Job summary

Resultant is seeking a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to lead design and operation of multi-cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure) in a hands-on, principal IC role. You will shape standards, reference architectures, and delivery accelerators used across client engagements.

Responsibilities include owning IaC and CI/CD pipelines, guiding production readiness, and mentoring engineers while engaging in pre-sales and solutioning with executive stakeholders. Hybrid role in Indianapolis or Dallas.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering with production ownership.
• Deep, hands-on expertise across AWS, GCP, and Azure (or two with strong third).
• Expert-level Terraform IaC with shared patterns and modules.
• Production Kubernetes experience (EKS, GKE, AKS).
• Strong CI/CD design experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Advanced scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Networking across clouds: VPC/VNet, DNS, load balancing, private connectivity.
• Cloud security and identity fundamentals (IAM, encryption).
• Track record as design authority and mentor for engineers.
• Experience in technical solutioning/pre-sales in a consulting environment.
• Strong English communication with executives.

Responsibilities

• Act as design authority for multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Define and publish firm-wide standards and reference architectures.
• Own IaC standards and Terraform module library across teams.
• Set production container standards for Kubernetes and registries.
• Lead technical discovery and pre-sales engagements with clients.
• Build and harden CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Establish observability, SLOs, and incident response practices.
• Define cloud security posture: IAM, secrets management, encryption.
• Drive FinOps and cost visibility across accounts and clouds.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise technical bar across practice.
• Create accelerators and reference implementations to speed delivery.
