Job summary

Resultant is seeking a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to design, build, and operate multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure in a Hybrid role based in Indianapolis or Chicago. You will own architecture decisions, define standards and runbooks, and guide a team of engineers across client engagements.

You will set standards for landing zones, networking, identity, and workload platforms, and drive automation through IaC, CI/CD, and securitization.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering with production ownership.
• Deep, hands-on expertise across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure, or two plus third cloud experience.
• Expert-level IaC, especially Terraform; create reusable modules and standard patterns.
• Production Kubernetes experience (EKS, GKE, AKS) with day-2 operations.
• Strong CI/CD design experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Automation scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Cloud networking fundamentals and hybrid connectivity (VPC/VNet, PrivateLink, Shared VPC).
• Strong cloud security and identity controls (IAM, RBAC, secrets).
• Design authority experience and mentoring senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority for multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Define standards and reference architectures for landing zones, networking, identity, and workloads.
• Own IaC standards and modular Terraform libraries; govern state and drift at scale.
• Set production Kubernetes standards for multi-cloud containers and registries.
• Lead pre-sales technical discovery and client-facing engagements.
• Build and harden CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Establish observability, SLOs, and incident response practices; drive permanent fixes.
• Define cloud security posture including policy as code.
• Drive FinOps and cost optimization across accounts and clouds.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the practice.
