Job summary

Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Principal Cloud Architect to lead multi-cloud strategy across Azure, AWS, and GCP for government customers. This role requires active security clearance and expert-level cloud governance, architecture design, and automation initiatives.

You will mentor teams, drive cloud modernization, and ensure security-first architectures across platforms while aligning with federal standards and program objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 15+ years of technical leadership on DevSecOps and architecture tasks.
• At least 7 years designing enterprise solutions across two or more cloud platforms.
• At least 5 years in senior/principal architect roles for multi-cloud environments.
• 5 years DevSecOps experience including IaC, CI/CD, and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for multi-cloud architecture strategy across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Define enterprise cloud architecture standards, governance, and security practices.
• Lead IaC, CI/CD, and automation initiatives across platforms.
• Mentor cloud architects and engineers, drive cloud adoption and modernization.
• Ensure compliance with government standards (FedRAMP/NIST).
• Translate architectures into executive-level presentations and roadmaps.
