Job summary

Koniag Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Senior GCP Engineer to join a focused, small team supporting government cloud modernization efforts. You will lead cloud initiatives, architect GCP-based solutions, and drive automation across CI/CD and IaC pipelines.

The role requires 7+ years of cloud experience, active Secret clearance, and strong collaboration with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and security engineers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 7+ years in cloud engineering with strong GCP hands-on experience.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and IaC solutions.
• FISMA Moderate/High experience preferred and active clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a GCP-focused engineering team toward common goals.
• Design, implement, and document cloud solutions and pilots.
• Build YAML-based CI/CD pipelines across multiple tools.
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, and more.
• Collaborate across teams to automate and optimize cloud workloads.
