As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem‑solving, opportunity‑finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high‑performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About This Role

As the Senior Manager of Commissioning, you will lead the execution of Crusoe's commissioning program across a portfolio of data center projects within your region. Reporting to the Director of Commissioning, you will be responsible for ensuring every facility under your purview meets Crusoe's standards for reliability, efficiency, and safety before going into operation. You'll manage a team of Commissioning Managers and Engineers, coordinate across project stakeholders, and drive consistent, high‑quality commissioning outcomes from pre‑functional testing through integrated systems testing and turnover.

What You'll Be Working On
  • Manage and mentor a team of Commissioning Managers and Engineers, providing direction, support, and professional development across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Oversee commissioning execution across your portfolio of data center builds, expansions, and retrofits, holding the team accountable to schedule, quality, and scope.
  • Implement and uphold Crusoe's commissioning standards, templates, and workflows to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Oversee third‑party commissioning agents and ensure your team is coordinating effectively with design, construction, and operations stakeholders from pre‑functional testing through turnover.
  • Review and approve commissioning documentation including test procedures, scripts, MOPs, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure integrated system testing and reliability demonstrations for critical MEP, and BMS/EPMS infrastructure are planned and executed to standard.
  • Track and report on commissioning progress, milestones, and risks across your portfolio, escalating issues to the Director of Commissioning as needed.
  • Capture and communicate lessons learned to support continuous improvement of commissioning processes and reduce time‑to‑market.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and quality control are enforced at every stage of the commissioning lifecycle.
What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of experience in commissioning data centers, mission‑critical facilities, or large‑scale infrastructure.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing commissioning teams or programs.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, controls integration (BMS/EPMS), and commissioning best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across different stages of design and construction.
  • Experience coordinating with general contractors, OEMs, and third‑party commissioning firms.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a detail‑oriented and data‑driven approach to execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (PE license or CxA certification a plus).
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required (50% travel).
