Job summary

Our Client is seeking a CNC Milling Machinist with 5-axis experience to perform setup and operate CNC milling centers with minimal supervision. The candidate should read blueprints, select tools, and set feeds and speeds while ensuring part quality.

The role requires inspecting machined parts with precision tools and maintaining a clean, organized shop floor. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work independently is essential.

Qualifications

• 5-axis milling experience is required.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC milling centers.
• Experience reading blueprints and selecting tooling.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers and perform adjustments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers. Performs Machine Adjustments and Troubleshoots Controllers / Machines / Processes.
• Works from Blueprint Requirements. Selects Tools, Sets Feeds, and Speeds.
• Perform Inspection of Machined Parts using Precision Hand Tools.
• Able to work Independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools, Equipment, Machines, etc.) Re-orders Tools as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma / GED 2-3 Years of Experience in CNC 5-Axis Milling Setup and Operations
