Altruist is seeking a Senior Analyst, Trading in Dallas to monitor order flow, resolve breaks, and support advisors across equities, options, and fixed income. You will also assist Credit Risk and help with trade lifecycle improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years on a trading desk, solid knowledge of equity/options mechanics, and licensing (Series 7/63/57/24/52). The role demands attention to details and cross-functional collaboration within the Trading & Brokerage Operations group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in trading operations, trade support, or on a trading desk at a broker-dealer or custodian
• Hands-on experience with order handling, trade breaks, or corrections
• Working knowledge of equity and options market mechanics
• Exposure to fixed income or margin workflows is a plus

Responsabilités

• Monitor daily order flow across equities and options, flag anomalies early
• Review orders in review queue, evaluate risk, and escalate per policy
• Support working not held orders via algo strategies or RFQ under manager guidance
• Assist advisors with questions on orders, executions, corporate actions, and market events
• Process and monitor fixed income order flow, including treasuries, municipals, corporates, and brokered CDs
• Respond to advisor questions on bond availability, pricing, yield, and order status
• Flag pricing and settlement exceptions on fixed income trades
• Support Credit Risk by executing liquidations to satisfy margin calls
• Enforce PDT, Good Faith, and Freeride restrictions on the desk
• Research and resolve trade breaks, process cancels and rebills
• Coordinate with clearing and settlement teams on clean trade handoffs
• Execute daily work in compliance with SEC, FINRA, MSRB rules
• Maintain documentation and audit evidence for reviews and escalations
• Provide operational feedback to Product and Engineering during trading buildouts
• Identify manual desk steps for automation and propose improvements
