Job summary

Altruist is hiring a Senior Analyst, Trading to monitor a multi-asset desk, resolve breaks, and support advisors across equities, options, and fixed income. This role reports to the Trading & Brokerage Operations organization and offers a growth path toward Manager, Trading.

You will work hands-on on order handling, trade breaks, and advisor inquiries, with opportunities to automate processes and contribute to product/engineering testing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in trading operations or on a trading desk.
• Hands-on experience with order handling or trade breaks.
• Knowledge of equities and options market mechanics.
• Exposure to fixed income or margin workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily order flow for equities and options; flag anomalies.
• Process fixed income order flow and respond to bond-related inquiries.
• Resolve trade breaks, process cancels and rebills per policy.
• Ensure daily trading activities comply with SEC/FINRA rules.
