Job summary

Accenture in the United States is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Architect. You will lead design and architecture for complex integration programs, guiding delivery teams and establishing standards throughout the project lifecycle.

You bring deep MuleSoft expertise, strong communication skills, and a track record of translating business requirements into scalable API ecosystems. Travel may be required, and you will work with AI-enabled tooling to improve architecture documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years translating business requirements into architectures and leading design reviews.
• 7+ years client-facing advisory and strong communication skills.
• 5+ years experience with integration architecture including JDBC, SOAP, REST, HTTP/HTTPS, JMS, and file-based systems.
• 4+ years of hands-on MuleSoft experience as a developer or architect.
• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
• 3+ years experience with Anypoint Platform components: API Manager, Runtime Manager, Analytics, Design Center, Exchange.
• 6 months experience with AI/GenAI tools for productivity and architecture documentation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Lead MuleSoft solution design and define integration architectures aligned with business outcomes and security.
• Translate requirements into designs using API-led connectivity and API/Integration patterns.
• Recommend scalable MuleSoft patterns, reusable assets, environment strategies, and development standards.
• Advise stakeholders, analysts, architects, and developers throughout lifecycle stages.
• Guide implementation teams, review deliverables, conduct design/code quality reviews, mentor staff.
• Support solutioning, scoping, effort estimates, resource planning, deployments, and operations.
• Use AI/GenAI tools for architecture documentation and solution analysis while ensuring quality.
