Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Senior Developer for its North America MuleSoft practice. The role involves translating business requirements into scalable APIs and integrations, guiding teams, and reviewing technical work across the full software lifecycle.

You will work directly with clients and colleagues to deliver secure, reusable APIs using Anypoint Platform and DataWeave. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years experience with OAuth, JWT, TLS, API security, test automation, logging, monitoring, and performance or reliability troubleshooting.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on MuleSoft development with Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, DataWeave, REST and SOAP services, connectors, and integration patterns.
• Minimum 3 years implementing API-led connectivity and using Anypoint API Manager, Runtime Manager, MUnits, Design Center, Exchange, and Anypoint Monitoring.
• Minimum 3 years experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, Agile delivery, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Minimum 2 years experience deploying integrations on MuleSoft CloudHub or Runtime Fabric.
• Minimum 6 months experience with AI and GenAI tools for productivity, documentation, and code generation.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support reusable MuleSoft APIs and integrations following API-led connectivity patterns.
• Implement System, Process, and Experience APIs using Anypoint Platform and related tools.
• Create technical specifications and support solution design reviews.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to promote best practices.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests and ensure security, quality, and governance standards.
• Support CI/CD, releases, environment promotion, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, analysts, architects, and Agile teams.
• Leverage AI/GenAI tools to accelerate development and validate generated artifacts.
