Job summary

Stable Rock, in collaboration with Mac-Tech, seeks a Tier 2 Support Engineer to provide advanced support across Windows, Microsoft 365, cloud services, and security for multiple client environments. The role blends in-office collaboration with our parent company’s tech initiatives, in a Hybrid NYC setting.

You will administer Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD, and AVD, escalate complex requests, and contribute to documentation and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in end-user support or IT operations.
• Experience in MSP environments preferred.
• Strong Windows and Microsoft 365 administration.
• macOS and Apple support experience preferred.
• Hybrid work capability (2–3 days in office).
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced Tier 2 support across Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, cloud, SaaS, and network environments.
• Collaborate with Stable Rock's VP of Technology on day-to-day support, admin, security, and initiatives.
• Support multiple client environments within an MSP model.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, and user administration.
• Administer Intune, Entra ID/Azure AD, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Support security technologies, including email gateways, endpoint protection, and access management.
• Support business-critical applications such as CCH and QuickBooks.
• Troubleshoot complex and escalated service requests and incidents.
• Monitor ticket queue, triage, prioritize, document, and communicate with clients.
• Serve as escalation point and mentor for Tier 1 Engineers; create/document repeatable procedures.
• Perform backup supervision, server maintenance, patching, endpoint management, and monitoring as needed.
• Participate in projects, migrations, deployments, and infrastructure improvements.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to systems and workflows.
• Continue professional development through training and certifications.
• Promote Stable Rock quality standards and values through collaboration and leadership.
