Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting a Senior Medical Science Liaison – Rheumatology to cover the New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, and Washington DC territory. The Senior MSL will serve as a field-based scientific expert, building relationships with KOLs and HCPs, and delivering balanced scientific information to inform patient care.

Strong therapeutic immunology expertise and to stay current with evolving data, while collaborating with internal teams

Qualifications

• Strong scientific/therapeutic expertise with data analysis and clinical insight.
• Ability to support a defined territory with travel.
• Excellent communication for scientific exchange with health care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan for the territory that aligns with Medical Affairs strategy.
• Engage in high quality two-way scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs that informs medical practice.
• Identify and cultivate professional relationships with community and academic HCPs/KOLs to advance scientific credibility.
• Utilize insights and tools to develop a strategic approach for customer engagements within territory.
• Deliver relevant scientific data tailored to HCP needs through clear dialogue and presentations.
