Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines is recruiting for a Senior Medical Science Liaison – Rheumatology to be based in the South New York area, including NYC, and surrounding states. You will develop scientific engagement plans, engage with KOLs/HCPs, and advance medical strategy across the territory.

We seek a Doctorate level candidate with 2+ years MSL experience, strong data analysis skills, and the ability to work cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate level degree or equivalent experience; post graduate experience preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant MSL experience.
• Strong scientific/therapeutic expertise with skills in data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of time; US territory coverage.
• US Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a scientific engagement plan for the territory aligned with Medical Affairs strategy.
• Engage in high quality, two-way scientific exchange with KOLs and HCPs across the territory.
• Identify and cultivate professional relationships with community and academic HCPs/KOLs to enhance scientific credibility.
• Utilize insights and tools to develop strategic approaches for customer engagements and opportunities.
• Leverage AI insights to improve decision making and efficiency in core responsibilities.
• Deliver tailored scientific data to HCPs, translating evidence into meaningful discussions.
