Job summary

You will build trusted relationships with HCPs and KOLs, communicate robust scientific information, and collaborate with Medical Directors and cross-functional teams. The role requires strong clinical and scientific acumen, leadership, and the ability to travel ~70% within the territory, with home-based office flexibility and ongoing scientific education and field

Qualifications

• BS degree in Biological Sciences or related major.
• 3+ years of professional experience in a clinical setting or related therapeutic area.
• MD/PhD/PharmD strongly preferred and/or a minimum of 2 years track record as an MSL.
• Industry experience (>3 years) in biotech/pharma.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to travel ~70% within territory.

Responsibilities

• HCP relationship management: profile and engage HCPs, build relationships and centers of excellence; develop and refine HCP engagement plans aligned with medical goals.
• Gains and maintains HCPs' trust by providing relevant scientific information on products and disease states; disseminates insights internally to inform medical strategy.
• Supports scientific exchange of product/disease state with external stakeholders as needed; educates internal teams.
• Demonstrates proficiency in clinical study design, protocols, and real-world evidence; supports externally sponsored research and trials.
• Maintains knowledge of the US healthcare system and managed markets; understands information flow in managed care and government organizations.
