Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (Sr. MSL) in Rare Diseases to execute national medical strategies and engage regional accounts with a focus on centers of excellence.

This field-based role supports FUS ALS, PKU, and other rare disease indications, collaborating with internal partners to address evolving customer needs. The Sr. MSL will build external relationships with KOLs, investigators, healthcare providers, and advocacy organizations, delivering

Qualifications

• MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD in life sciences required.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant Medical Affairs/MSL experience.
• Rare disease experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 70% by air or car.

Responsibilities

• Execute national medical strategies in the field and engage regional and national stakeholders.
• Develop and execute regional medical business plans aligned with national strategy.
• Provide clinical and scientific expertise across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.
• Engage Centers of Excellence, KOLs, investigators, and care teams to support patient outcomes.
