Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Sr. Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Obesity and Related Conditions in the San Diego region.

This field-based role serves as the primary scientific and clinical resource for opinion leaders and physicians, helping to disseminate data to improve patient outcomes and support Amgen’s medical strategy. Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree with Medical Affairs experience as specified in Basic Qualifications.
• Experience in Medical Affairs within biotech/pharma environments is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with external stakeholders is required.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs, and healthcare providers to support Amgen strategy.
• Engage with clinical investigators and sites to support obesity and related conditions pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data and clinical value to PHDMs, IDNs, and institutions.
