Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison focused on Obesity and Related Conditions in the North Miami/PR region. This field-based role requires deep medical science expertise and ability to engage Opinion Leaders, healthcare providers, and researchers to advance Amgen’s obesity programs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support sponsored and non-sponsored studies, and contribute to value-based medical communications.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent in a health-related field with relevant Medical Affairs experience.
• Master’s with substantial Medical Affairs experience also acceptable.
• Bachelor’s degree with significant Medical Affairs experience can qualify.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other healthcare providers.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support obesity pipeline.
• Communicate scientific data to stakeholders to improve patient outcomes.
• Lead congress activities and speaker training as needed.
• Maintain compliance and complete admin duties (CRM, reports, trainings).
